Holy shit.
Talk about goosebumps.
There's nothing I love more than surprising someone by stomping on a previously held stereotype and simultaneously ruining and making someone's day. I've experienced my fair share of stereotypes as a tattooed white male in cheap clothing, but it ain't shit compared to my friends of color in their day to day. It's infuriating to witness stereotypes against others, but holy shit is it inspiring to see something like this where there is no exception to the level of talent and commitment these guys on the violins are sharing with us.
Not only is the police siren squak perfectly executed, it's necessary. At a time in history where there's never been such a thick line drawn in the sand between those who police and those policed, I think this video and what it represents are important reminders that whatever our differences, our shared appreciation for the awesome might very well help thin out that line between us.
Props to Black Violin for the amazing track and video for "Stereotypes", this is unreal.
And please, share the shit out of this because when two guys walk up with violins and melt your fucking face, it doesn't matter what color you are, BECAUSE YOUR SKIN IS GONE FROM ALL THE FACE MELTINGS YEA?
