Apoc

I don't know if you know this, but I know Apoc personally. I knew back when I first knew him that knowing him would be something I knew I would appreciate when I got older.

Knowing Apoc (or Pat Dandy if you're nasty) has been one of the more enjoyable friendships in my life. Not just because he's funny as fuck and constantly finding new ways to make fun of himself, but it's because unlike most of the people submitting music to SYFFAL, he's reinventing himself and his sound at every fucking turn. 

Apoc is like the spider (mira, tres puntos like spider) that sheds off his old sound for a new sound every album, and when you finally see his face in one of his videos, he's fucking progressed from American living in Colorado to Peruvian palm oil salesman living in Gibraltar. It's fucking mindboggling how someone can continue to stay original while never fucking repeating himself. 

"Brand New Thing" is Apoc's brand new thing, and once a fucking gain, it's a brand new Apoc thing by a brand new Apoc.

Not only is the chip-tuned robot burps fucking bounce-happy, the fact that a caucasian male can ride a beat that jibberish-inducing is fucking amazing. If I were a rapper, and I'm not, I couldn't breathe how Apoc breathes here. If anything, this video is further proof that Apoc's cardio game is on POINT. The video is so prop-heavy I've watched it thrice, and that's saying something, because I'm a busy ass asshole with the attention span of a raisinette. 

Apoc, I love you and I hope you never stop being Apoc because Apoc is fucking ALWAYS a brand new thing and I fucking love it.
