Ha the Unclear

The first time I heard this song I got caught up on one fucking line.

"The holes in the roof are made from stars..."

Whether that's just the epitome of poetic or it reminds me of doing drugs, I can't completely decide, but I'll tell you hearing that one line, delivered in the way Ha the Unclear delivered it, well, it made my fucking week. Once I stopped sniffling and staring off into space, I knew that I had found a song I could toss into the introspective bank forever. For those that don't know, that's sort of like a spank bank, but instead of things to masturbate to later, it's for things to hold comfort in just knowing they exist. Pretty equal in the grand scheme of things, sure, but I can legally access one whenever I want. YOU DECIDE.

Whoever the Fuck Ha the Unclear are, I'm captivated in a way I normally reserve for bands I've been obsessed with for years. There's this gentle variance on the word odd that has somehow made me appreciate them like they were created just for me.

Ha the Unclear sound like a fucking weird(er) Elle Milano, where the tempos pop and fizzle, your neck hurts from bopping back and forth with the dude's accent, but underneathe it all is this gorgeousness that has (thrice) given me such an overwhelming sense of peace that my eyeballs piss these clear eye piss tears.

I want you to watch this video and appreciate it, but I also want you to follow this band for the rest of your life and understand that they're your favorite now. Not because you know all the lyrics to their songs or even the fucking names of their songs, no, Ha the Unclear are your favorite now because they make the fucking teddy bear from your youth connect with every fucking sense you have. You can feel that teddy bro with the touch of your face to its cheek, smell the fabric softener with your schnoz, taste the tears of last week's cry, sense that comfort that only faint memories from your childhood can.

Fuck you Ha the Unclear. You made me weepy. I love you.
