Rational Anthem

Rational Anthem tickles that sick little part of me that still laughs when people fall. 

I’d call Rational Anthem pop punk, but pop makes it sound bubbly and saccharine when, with songs like “I Wish I Could Be Happy” from 2014’s Emotionally Unavailable, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. 

But with that being said, this shit is hardly emo. I haven’t ever met a group of people who seem more content with things being fucked up. It’s like they revel in it. And all I want to do is frolic in their fucked up little sandbox too.  

So, lovers, brothers, mothers, and others, significant or not, wipe away ye olde tears or let them stream down your fucking face. Either way, Rational Anthem doesn’t give a shit. 

And neither do I.
