Bling Coats f/Ceschi & H. Dagger

There are times when I have a hard time writing these things because I can't think of what to say. For , "Bling Coats," the new video from Sixo feat. Ceschi and Hologram Dagger, the opposite is true. I don't know whether to start with the song's timely topic, Sixo's eased out production, or the bathtub scene. Fuck it! Let's start there.

I must warn you. In this video there is a scene where Mr. Ramos takes a bath. There is still time to turn back. Still with us? Dope.

Just the other day I was just asking Ceschi for some back hair advice. Not only does the muscle behind Fake Four, Inc indeed have four fingers on one hand, he also has this elbow dislocation technique for getting those hard to reach spots when shaving your back. Like right on your shoulder blades. He calls it the Disconnecticutt. I was hoping during this bathing scene I'd get a chance to see it in action, but Ceschi's part rapper which makes him a dick and he didn't bust it out. But cool nipples, bro!

I fucking love the shit out of Ceschi. I hugged him hard when he played here in Los Angeles so goddamed long ago that I regret promising not to shower til his next show. Come back!!! People are starting to say stuff. Ceschi was part of a year in music that rescued me from a very slow but very painful avalanche of shitty music and dinner parties. You know how people will say that if they affect one person with their contributions then it's all worth it? Well Ramos, my man, it's all been worth it. Consider me fucking affected.

Sixo played along with my stupid interview questions a while back when he dropped Free Floating Rationales, and it's good to see him at it again. His production of "Bling Coats" is flawless. The beat is so spacious while managing to slap hard. Sixo's gone from wearing a motocross helmet to making me wear one so I don't bust my fucking forehead on the steering wheel when head nodding out to this. Beside professional mastering, the thing that separates a producer like Sixo, or Emacipator, or Void Pedal, or even Factor, is the layers. Sixo is able to, with his layering, marry such different elements and with such unexpected success. I also like the vocal sample. Ties everything together and it gives the song a throwback mixtape feel.

The video is balls good. The song is Captain Crunch All Berries it's so good. Sixo, man, I don't know if your still racing dirt bikes but I'm fucking glad your making music.
