Emancipator, with his release, Safe in the Steep Cliffs, catapulted himself into my ears like a miniature person with a mission to massage my malleus. Let's just say that I'm the one who got the happy ending.
It seems Emancipator, whose government name is Doug Appling, is in no way done. In fact, dude doubled down, took a long draw of whiskey, leaned back in his chair, hands resting across his chest, flirting with his own nipples, a smirk across his smug face like he's staring at fucking blackjack.
Emancipator has branched out, debuting the Emancipator En-fucking-semble last year. That's Emancipator's layered and scrumdittliumptious production being played by REAL LIFE MUSICIANS in a REAL LIFE BAND bringing Emancipator's REAL AUDIO PROCLAMATIONS to your head holes on a whole new level of decibel efficiency!
BRING THE MOTHER FUCKING LUSCIOUS!!!
We, here at Syffal, we ride hard for the music we love. Not as in we ride around, acting all hard.
Except for Del.
We DO ride around with TOTES BONEZ in errrr tight PANTZ! And boy are my jorts snug in the yung crotch for this live version of "Diamonds". The drums are LIVE and smashing, the samples soaring, the cuts on kill, including the Busta Rhymes addition that made me push back my pleather office chair and straight shake my hairy rumpa! FLIP MODE!
My only hope is that I get a chance to lay spread-eagle on the ground in an establishment of ill-repute somewhere close to my megalopolis of choice and air hump hard to this whole set. Because Emancipator was already the soundtrack to being taken away to that special place, but with an Ensemble, I'd stay up too long and probably break down and cry-ay! AY!
Live in Athens releases on Thursday, June 4, 2015 as a pay what you want offering. And you KNOW you fucking want it!
