Before we jump into this, I'd like to apologize (if anybody cares) for missing last month. But I wasn't feeling 10 songs. Not because there wasn't anything good, but because I got sucked into a few albums and didn't want to listen to anything else.

SO, I combined August and September into one list that I'm very proud of. If you want to feel chill then listen to the beginning. If you want to move in your seat like your subtly trying to relieve that corn hole itch because you are at work and don't want to poke a finger in your bum, then listen to the end.

Without further adieu......

Bon Iver - 8 (circle): I'm honestly really surprised how much everybody i sucking off this Bon Iver album. I'm not coming from the place of a hater because I'm a huge fan, but I can't get into this album at all. There are 3 excellent songs and the rest is just filler. That said, '8 (circle)' is one of those excellent songs and maybe my favorite song Bon Iver has ever created.

Charlotte Day Wilson - Find You: Sometimes when I listen to a new song I like to pretend that I'm a judge on The Voice. When I first heard this song I slapped the top of my desk and swiveled around in my desk chair and act like I care about her as a person. I love this girl's voice; it's so sultry and soulful that I wouldn't be surprised if Morcheeba wasn't just a moniker for Charlotte Day Wilson.

Local Natives - Coins: I could use that guitar tone anytime in my life. Dude is playing that semi-hollowbody like it's a Strat. Who does he think he is?

Communist Daughter - Roll A Stone: Cohesive, yet so much 'genre mutt-ing'. Mutt as in made of of many different breeds. I made up that phrase specifically for this track; feel free to use it as long as you send a dollar's worth of bit coins to me.

Francis & The Lights - Friends (Ft. Bon Iver and Kanye): I have no idea what Kanye is doing on this track but I don't care. It's so amazing.

Mondo Cozmo - Shine: I need to know more about this Mondo Cozmo asshole. The first song he released earlier this year made me cry. And this song makes me self-reflect like a motherfucker. Maybe it's the Bob Dylan-y vocals. Maybe it's the positive message about letting go of your past's demons. Maybe he needs to release more songs.

Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam - When The Truth Is: What started as 'I'm not sure what to make of this collaboration' (Leithauser from Walkmen; Rostam from Vampire Weekend) has now turned to 'I can't live without this collaboration in my life.'

Wilco - If I Ever Was Child: Joel can make fun of me for liking Wilco until he's red in the face (he's always red in the face), but I'll keep listening to ever album they put out. Something about Wilco will always get me because they sound good and feel easy.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones - Sanctify: I've already professed my love for this album, but this song? Fuuuuuuck. That horn explosion makes me explode. You know, down there.

Moby & The Void Pacific Choir - Are You Lost In The World: What the fuck happened to Moby? It sounds like he locked himself in a room with the New Order Discography and a bag of Cheetos. This was not what I was expecting, but I love it.

Glass Animals - Cane Shugga: This track is so amazingly weird. I imagine this is the type of music the Demogorgan dances to in the upside down. CAN YOU IMAGINE IT? This makes me LOLzers.

Googie - Zig Zag Zig: If there is one song for you to add to your summer fun play list this is it. This is a song you you close out the night with when you and all your friends are happily sloppy. LEGS. IN. THE. FUCKING. SKY. THROW YOUR LEGS IN THE MOTHAFUCKING SKY. CUZ I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL. I'M TRYIN' TO SEE YOUR SOUL.
