I love how Astronauts. sound like ear pillows from the fucking get-go. It's like every song of theirs is meticulously crafted to be both soul warming and mood cooling, like it's the icy hot of ear insertables.  I've also been playing an air-xylophone at my desk since discovering this track this morning. It's the end of a 3 month period. So, for us, that means that we share our favorite albums of the quarter. And the first quarter has been a blur this year. The first part of 2016 is full of hatred, bigotry, and the deaths of a handful of hugely influential musicians. I DON'T KNOW WHO THIS IS BUT IT FEELS LIKE I KNOW EXACTLY WHO THIS IS AND I FUCKING LOVE IT. Pleasure House sound like a raunchy mix between Arctic Monkeys, Foals, and The 1975 if they had facial hair and didn't get beat up on the playground. I fucking love it. Andrew Bird - Left Handed Kisses (ft. Fiona Apple): A song about writing a love song and it's perfect.  Britta Phillips - Drive (Cars Cover): I have a theory. If you fuck up a cover of 'Drive' you need to hang up your wet long johns. It's one of the few songs that allows itself to be covered and 98.4% of the time will sound awesome.  Japanese Breakfast - In Heaven: If this sounds like a song Del would recommend it is  because he did.
