I listened to this NINE TIMES the first time I heard it. That recurring pulse has me transfixed like the opening credits of Stranger Things bro, fuck! Whoever Japanese Wallpaper is, it sounds like I'm about to become obsessed because I can't stop hitting play on this shit.  Hypnotic, contemplative, relaxing, every time I start "Cocoon" over I'm immersed in that "just woke up without a hangover" like bliss that I don't have happen as often as I'd like. This shit is beautiful and I can't wait to dip my balls in a full length album at some point. 

The Holy are my new favorite band. I only have five songs to obsess over, but this is up there with the other four songs as being one of my favorite fucking songs on the fucking planet. "This Will Be The Day That I Die" kills me. The good kill though bro.  The internal cinematic effects to merely listening to The Holy have left me with a greater appreciation for the beauty that shows itself at every corner of the life playing out in front of me. I can't even fucking begin to describe how inspiring this song is, but dude, just go buy this EP and then obsess over them with me so I can stop feeling like the only one flapping his hands in eeeeeeeeeeeeee over these assholes. 

Klangstof is my new obsesh.  F'real; he is all I've been listening to for the month of August and I want to tell everybody I know about this Norwegian dream carriage who's name is Koen. BUT his album isn't out yet and he only has 4 songs on Soundcloud. And all of them are the ballz on Dutch stroopwaffles.  Anyhoo, he finally announced a release date of 9/9 for his new album titled Close Eyes to Exit. I fucking loved the shit out of this song when it dropped back in May. I had never considered how fucking balls a visual might fit into that initial love affair. But of course Trails and Ways had to go and sensual-ify this motherfucker and now "My Things" is 77% more erotically charged than initially given credit for.  I mean, I thought I was the only one who bathed with his mountain bike and cuddled with his surfboard!   So I watched this video from Tommy Cash called, “Winaloto”. First question: Where in the ever-loving fuck is this kid from?  Second question: Do I even like this?  Answer #1: Post-Communist Estonia.  Answer #2: I think I’m in love.  This video, a kind of Cirque Du Soleil-esque freak show thang thang, has so many fucking levels. As an outsider in Estonia, this kid took some real heavy shit for being hip hop. I pretty fucking sure that trap rappers aren't as much of a scourge as they are here in La La Land. There are some real underlying racial statements going on here. Statements on acceptance, segregation, racism, cultural self-determination.
