Dead Days sound like a non-waify Linkin Park having sex with a less aggressive Tool while watching Rush concert videos on a two channel tube television. Anything else I have to say? I fucking love this. 

This band kills me.  Busman's Holiday are the whimisical, theatrical, and magical version of my internal monologue. And while they make me weepy, their music creates this "emotion sauna" where I just fucking bawl and get out all the energy that could potentially turn into something physical that could hurt me. They are a fucking medical necessity at this point and I want you to watch "Evening Flows" and understand what I mean. I fucking love this band, even when I don't fully understand this band. 

DOES ANYONE NOTICES THE STARK SIMILARITIES BETWEEN L.A. GIRLFRIEND'S DANCE MOVES ON "SUBLIMINAL FANTASTIC" AND MY OWN INTERPRETIVE DANCE CYCLE PERFORMANCE? I mean, I don't want to call bullshit, but come on. Same gloves. Same eye makeup. Same claws. Same sand in my vag. I SENSE HOMAGE. So I've come to the conclusion that L.A. Girlfriend's new video for "Subliminal Fantastic" is her trying to flirt with me, and I'm okay with that, but my wife will fucking CUT YOU.  LAGF, HUGS. Fall is upon us. It even rained twice this week here is the dry-mouthed and heaving Los Angeles. For much of the country the leaves are turning, much like my stomach at some of America’s Halloween costume choices. This year, do us all a favor: skip dressing up like anyone murdered by the police. This dude JUST left my stereo after last week's obsession and then he sends out an email with THIS? Fucking Hanging Valleys taking my animated mental picture and bringing it to life with this video for "Endless Wave". HOW DARE THEY. I love how incredibly delicate everything seems until a HUGE ASS FUCKING WAVE COMES CRASHING DOWN SENDING SURFERS SCRAMBLING TO QUENCH THAT THIRST FOR DOMINATING NATURE SO FORCEFULLY. When that dude just lets go and soars over the top of the wave at 1:58 I fucking DIED bro. I DIED. How fucking beautiful is this planet we're riding? And how insane is it that we fail to notice its beauty so often, yet when slowed down it feels like we should've noticed that shit the whole time.  GORGEOUS 

No clue who Georgie is, but about 55 seconds I started shimmying my shoulders and ignoring the people staring at me and felt the need to share this shit. "Company of Thieves" sounds a bit slow finger snaps at the corner diner-ish, and I dig the attitude, but right before the 3 minute mark where it hops up a key or two I went full on "wooooooooo"! It's rare for me to hear something that feels slightly off end up being so fucking slick. Maybe this Georgie character is the answer to all of my complaints about how blatant and over the top femininity in music takes away from the obvious strength of the female protaganist as it pertains to the incessant immature actions of the male species. I love strong women. Georgie looks strong as fuck. I love it.

"InstantFlava" is pleasantly jazzed the fuck out! This is some creative ass, throwback-sounding, fish-eyed fucking gold!  Never heard a thing from BlabberMouf before, but the Fu-Schnickens is strong with this one.  From the Netherlands, this dude made me wanna space cake the fuck out on a houseboat sporting Dwayne Wayne glasses.  Shit went so hard that, while spraying my son's back with sunscreen, it made this old backpacker's drug-riddled mind transported back in time to leaving burners on the side of the 170 freeway. Should leave an interesting tan line, but who are we kidding? He's white as fuck and will back to a shade of milk in less than 24 hours. Rational Anthem tickles that sick little part of me that still laughs when people fall.  I’d call Rational Anthem pop punk, but pop makes it sound bubbly and saccharine when, with songs like “I Wish I Could Be Happy” from 2014’s Emotionally Unavailable, that couldn’t be farther from the truth.  But with that being said, this shit is hardly emo. I haven’t ever met a group of people who seem more content with things being fucked up. It’s like they revel in it. And all I want to do is frolic in their fucked up little sandbox too.   So, lovers, brothers, mothers, and others, significant or not, wipe away ye olde tears or let them stream down your fucking face. Either way, Rational Anthem doesn’t give a shit.  And neither do I. 

I would never trade another life for this one.  Who am I kidding? I can literally think of thousands of lives I trade for this one.  I mean, this one's cool and all. I got a couple of kids that manage to be low on the asshole scale. I've experienced love. I seen a lot of shit you wouldn't believe.  But, like a billion dollars, and huge porn dick, and the ability to dunk a basketball? First draft, no exceptions, trade deal done!  Luckily for us, Fake Four, Inc's Japananese godson, Kaigen, and San Diego's resident rap weirdo, Orko Eloheim, now rap superduo Tachyon Ghetto Blaster, wouldn't trade theirs. Thus we get a full record full of tripped out raps I can only half understand but appreciate fully erect. 

I shit you not. The pull quotes in Communist Daughter's press release referenced everyone of these bands: Arcade Fire, Of Monsters and Men, The Civil Wars, Fleet Foxes, and Bon Iver. ...with grunge stylings.  Normally this why I hate press releases. I mean, I get that they want to compare the music to more popular artists so you know what expect. I do it all the time. But the artists above are all over the board, thus not giving me any idea to how they could possibly sound.  And now that I've stuck my foot in my mouf, all those pull quotes are kind of right. 'Roll A Stone' sounds like all that shit and at the same time. I don't really get it. I could even fuck with you a little more add Death Cab and Juno in there.  Now more pressing, as a new fan I don't know how I should style myself if...
